This will not only give you a better idea of what you would want but also your Makeup Artist to have a much better understanding of the look you are looking for.

You only get One shot at this, so spend some time really looking into it. You will be very thankful later.

2. Scout out Makeup Artists that display work that closely resembles the work that you like/ your tastes.

Yes Makeup Artists are multi faceted, meaning that they are definitely able to create many different types of looks.

However, each artist has their own unique style and expertise. Some are really good at giving natural dewy skin finishes and some maybe are great at creative eye makeup. Which styles are more suited towards your preferences and looks that you are going for? Aim to try and work with these artists as they probably are more apt to create your dream look easily as they would truly understand what you are looking for.

3. Have a Trial Makeup Session

When it comes, to your Wedding Day, do you really want to be taking ANY Chances?

It is best to have a makeup trial session with your Artist to try out the desired Makeup Look. This way you both can communicate on the look desired, and based on the trial you can also further advise/ provide feedback to your Makeup Artist on what changes you would like done. 4. Take care of your Skin

Yes your makeup is very important.

However, please understand that NO amount of makeup can Completely cover up or replace bad skin. The more Makeup is applied trying to cover up bad skin the heavier and more cakey the makeup can end up looking.

Invest time and effort into understanding your skin conditions and issues and spend a good 3-6 mths prior to your wedding really taking care of your skin.

Have a skincare routine that has the right products to target your skin issues.

5. Hydrated skin works MAGIC!

Well you can!

All you have to do is HYDRATE!!!

We cannot emphasize the importance of having hydrated skin! And this is for ALL Skin types. Dry to Normal to Yes even Oily!

Without hydrated skin, your makeup will not glide on smoothly, wont stay for long and also runs the risk of looking cakey and patch over time!

5. Hair Completes your LOOK!

Yes makeup is very important, but your hairstyle really COMPLETES your Perfect Look!

Don’t overlook the significance of having the right hairstyle that accentuates and suits your face type and overall look.

Discuss with your Makeup Artist on the look/ vive you are going for and then get their advise as well on what hairstyle they think will suit you best.
